who we are
Sam (Sangyoul) Han, Principal, received a Bachelor of Arts from renowned Hong-Ik University in Seoul, Korea and earned a Master in Architecture from University of Pennsylvania. Before launching his own office, he has worked several years in the architectural firms to develop his design skills follow by construction firms to expand his hands on knowledge and skills in construction. Sam is a licensed Architect and a Contractor in the State of California. He is also LEED AP and Certified Green Building Professional who has been incorporating the latest energy efficient technologies and green building materials to achieve cost –efficient and energy saving sustainable architecture.
Jennifer Koo, Senior Project Manager, received a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Southern California and has been working last 25 years at award winning architectural firms before she joined HK Design & Development, Inc.
Experienced in all phases of design and planning, she brings particular skills and focus to efficient and thoroughly functional plan layout and space utilization. With her particular attention to every detail, she has ability to produce visually exciting and aesthetically pleasing designs.
